Introduction

To ensure the confidentiality and integrity of private information that needs to be exchanged through email, and in order to comply with financial regulations, Republic Bank has implemented an encryption service through Cisco Systems.

Cisco Registered Envelope Service (CRES) allows businesses to send encrypted messages via registered envelopes. The registered envelope is an encrypted email which is password-protected and can only be opened by authorized recipients who authenticate themselves. If you are a first-time recipient receiving a password-protected secure envelope, you will be asked to register with the service to create the password which will be used to authenticate you for future communications.

Due to the confidential nature of many messages, it is important to Republic Bank that we ensure that your information remains private. This site is designed to help you understand how CRES works, and why sending an email through secure channels is a better option than using a standard messaging platform.
